Cinque Terre, also known as 5 towns, is a string of five old fishing villages, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso on the Italian Riviera in the region of Liguria.The towns are comprised of colorful houses and vineyards, harbors that are filled with fishing boats, and trattorias filled with seafood specialties along with the Liguria region’s famous sauce, pesto. A great place to hike, swim, and enjoy Ligurian cuisine.
