What types of travel does AT Escapes provide?

• Private Customized Travel: We specialize in private and customized travel itineraries and services for you, your family, and friends. Traveling with your own group allows you to enjoy exclusivity, customized experiences, and the best maximization of your time.
• Small Group Tours: AT Escapes organizes a selection of small group tours. The average size of our group tours varies depending on the trip selected. However, most group tours average 12 guests.  As these groups are small, availability is on a first come basis.
• Ocean & River Cruises – Upon special request. 

How far in advance should I book? 
It is recommended that you make bookings as early as possible to ensure availability especially if you are limited to specific travel dates. 

Should I extend my stay before or after a group tour or cruise, can AT Escapes assist with hotels and other travel-related requests?
We are happy to assist our guests in extending their stay by providing hotel rooms, transfers, local tours, concierge services, etc. Feel free to reach out should you like to spend additional time in one of your favorite places. 

What is included in land itineraries?  
Virtually every travel expense is included in one up-front price in both for Group Tours as well as our Private Customized itineraries. These include airport transfers and other transportation as specified in the itinerary, hotel accommodations as specified in the itinerary, activities and meals as specified in the itinerary, sightseeing as per the itinerary, concierge-style services as specified in the itinerary, services of local guides and more. There are no hidden costs while you travel with AT Escapes 

Are Gratuities included?

• Private Customized travel: Gratuities are not included in private customized itineraries and are greatly appreciated by drivers, tour guides, tour assistants/tour leader, luggage handlers, bellmen, doormen, dining room servers, and restaurants.

• GROUP TOURS – All appropriate gratuities for drivers, luggage handling, bellmen, doormen, tour guides, dining room servers are included in our Group Tours. Tour Leader gratuities are not included but greatly appreciated.

Our team of air specialists are happy to arrange your flights. We work with a team of experts who will take the hassle out of your booking it yourself. 

Do I need Travel Insurance?
We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment. Travel Insurance gives you peace of mind in safeguarding your investment in the event of a cancellation prior to leaving or trip interruption. There are many types of coverage options ranging from basic trip cancellation insurance to full coverage, which includes emergency medical assistance. AT Escapes can assist you with the purchase of travel insurance.
